Mother's Day

How lucky I am that I have two beautiful daughters and such a wonderful husband! Mother's Day is my favorite day of the year and I hope all mothers get to enjoy the day as much as I do. Matt treats me like a queen and we visit my favorite place in NC, Duke Gardens. I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to visit the gardens this year because it rained a bit in the morning but by noon it had turned out to be a perfect day. We didn't do our tradition of a picnic in the gardens instead we just took an enjoyable walk around the gardens. Alex had a great time running around and looking at all the beautiful flowers and it was Amelia's first visit. Here are some of my favorite pictures from our day.
