Alex has had a blast this spring picking tons of strawberries. The first time she went she had lots of fun with her Grandma. She wanted to hold her pail the whole time even when it got really heavy. When we sat down at the picnic tables for lunch she didn't want her full pail to be out of her sight. The next time she went, we meet some friends and their boys for a very hot morning of strawberry picking. This time she did a lot of running with her friends, up and down the strawberry fields and all of us were very tired and hot at the end. Alex had a blast both times and she will often say, "I love strawberries because they are juicy and sweet!" and she also talks about going back to the strawberry patch. A new activity we'll have to continue every spring.
