Alex went to the beach for the first time this summer with five of her friends and their Mommies. We stayed the night at a beach house and the kids had so much fun together. We also went to the aquarium in Fort Fisher and the kids loved it all! Alex's favorite thing by far was going into the water at the beach. I actually had a hard time keeping her out of the water. I had no idea it would be like this! I actually had a chair at the beach.....what was I thinking! I thought maybe if she gets a mouth full of water and sand she might want to stop for a bit. That didn't happen! All the other Moms thought this was super funny however, I really thought I was going to die! She thought it was OK to just run full speed right into the ocean! All the pictures at the beach were taken by the other Moms since my hands were always wet and full of sand from keeping Alex from getting swept away by the waves.
